Tottenham Hotspur Football Club are keeping tabs on Urby Emanuelson.

The 23-year-old Dutch international is currently at loggerheads with Ajax, where his contract is set to expire at the end of the 2010/11 season.

Emanuelson revealed in January he was refusing to enter discussions about a new deal, and had instead decided to leave the club in the summer of 2011.

“We don’t want to talk about a new contract anymore,” he told Voetbal International. “I will stay until my contract expires and then leave on a free transfer.”

Harry Redknapp, though, has other ideas, with reports suggesting he hopes to lure the left-sided player to White Hart Lane during the summer transfer window.
