Arsenal vow to fight for title
09:00 PM 07 February, 2010
Arsenal Football Club will continue to fight for the title, says Arsene Wenger.

A 2-0 defeat at Chelsea, the Gunners sixth loss of the season, leaves Wenger’s side nine points adrift of their London neighbours, with thirteen games remaining.

Whilst the French coach accepts his team are now outsiders for their first title since 2004, he insists his players will continue to battle until it is mathematically impossible for them to be crowned.

"We are outsiders but we will fight until the last day of the season,” he told Sky Sports. "I believe everyone can drop points. Let's come back to win our next game first and then see where we stand."

What happened to all these promises, that once we moved to a new stadium, we would have the money to compete with the big boys. I think AW is more interested in having a good balance sheet than investing in players. Us Arsenal fans will have to live with it until Arsene calls it a day.

I was listening to a radio interview with the West-Ham chairman about clubs with huge debt. He was saying that Arsenal allways finish in the top four but only spending very little. When Mr Wengar sells players he makes money for the club. From a chairmans point of view Arsenal being ran like a business and doing very well. We may not be doing the business against Man-U & Chelsea. I think once we are debt free we are going to be very strong. This may take some time...?

Guys untill we pay off this debt we have. I think we are going to full short. When we do pay off this debt the good times will come back to us.

I will always be a gunner, but in my opinion we will never match Chelsea or Man U on the field as long as Arsene refuses to accept that we are 'tooooooo'lightweight,'toooooo' one dimensional predictable, and simply have no plan "B".Pretty ballet football does NOT win games,"GOALS" do.Lets stop kidding ourselves, premier league teams have worked us out, they are happy to see us playing our 'so-called' beautiful football outside their defensive area knowing that we will pass the ball to death,by that time all gaps are closed,to make it worse we then try to cross a high ball into the area for our 'BATTERY OPERATED' dwarf strikers against giants like Terry, Rio,Upson,Knight etc.We must be the worst team in the whole EPL at corners, for or against us.It does not matter who we sign,Wenger will make sure that he plays him of position so that wont help.I would encourage Cesc to go back to Barca where he will have a realistic chance to win some silverware for when he retires,GOD knows he's been patient enough and deserves it.As for Theo,(headless chicken) the less said the better.
