Arsenal hint at renewed Chamakh bid
12:30 PM 08 February, 2010
Arsene Wenger has hinted that Marouane Chamakh is still a target for Arsenal Football Club.

The Gunners tried to sign the Moroccan international in the summer, but Bordeaux, despite the player then having just twelve months remaining on his deal, rejected the bids.

Chamakh is now set to leave on a free transfer at the end of the season, and having revealed his first choice is a move to the Emirates Stadium, Wenger has hinted at renewing his interest.

"In life you should achieve your dreams, above all you should try for them," Wenger told Canal+. "We do like him a lot, but the day we sign him - we will let you know."

Hi Noel Good comments. What I seen him play. He would fit into our system like a duck to water. RVP & C-Cole would make a fantastic partner ship. To much weight is put on him at West-Ham. He already knows about Our crappy TAX system in England. I would not say NO to Mr Marouane Chamakh if he joined us in the summer..?

to gooner for life why would you want a player (c,cole) that has been in prem for the past 6seasons cant manage to finish a full one without at least 2to3 months injured and has a goal tally of 1 goal in every 2.8matchs. yes i know RVP is injured a lot but his goals to game ratio is a lot better 1 goal in 1.9 matchs. chamakh seems better option .

If we get Mr Marouane Chamakh on a free transfer that is a fantastic peace of business for Mr Wenger. I watched MR Marouane Chamakh on ESPN what I seen of him he looks very good. Me I would rather have Mr Colton Cole..?
