Petr Cech believes Arsenal Football Club are now out of the title race.

The Czech Republic international goalkeeper helped Chelsea to a 2-0 win over the Gunners on Sunday, a result which leaves Arsene Wenger’s side nine points behind their London rivals.

Although the Emirates Stadium club will refuse to concede defeat in the title race, Cech has told the Blues official website that he no longer considers them as potential champions.

“I think we have cut off Arsenal and they will find it only very difficult to erase the nine-point gap at this stage of season, especially with the tough games they are going to play yet,” he said.
