Clichy: Arsenal can better the Invincibles
Premier League glory for Arsenal Football Club this season would better their Invincible season of 2003/04, according to fullback Gael Clichy.
The Gunners were crowned champions six years ago without losing a single fixture, but to go on and win the title this season would be a better achievement, according to their French left-back.
"Even more, because people really doubt Arsenal,” Clichy told Sky Sports. "With the young team we have, people were saying a lot of bad things about us. That is the first thing we want to do.
“We want to show them we are a bit more mature now and that we can compete in this league, which is the best league in the world. We are going to fight until the end to make something happen.
“This year could be our year."
