Cesc Fabregas is clearly still thinking of Barcelona.

The Spanish international made no secret of his desire to return to the Camp Nou in the summer, to rejoin the club he represented as a youth team player.

However, there was no way Arsene Wenger would let the midfielder leave Arsenal, and the player admits this was the only thing that prevented him from sealing his dream move.

“Barcelona did all they could to sign me but Arsenal told me I had to stay, that there was no way they were going to let me go,” Fabregas is quoted in the Daily Mail.
