Tottenham Hotspur Football Club could look to lure Oriol Romeu to London.

The 18-year-old is currently on the books of Barcelona, and although he is yet to appear in Pep Guardiola’s first team, he has shown great promise for the B side.

A defensive midfielder, Sport claims the teenager is worried about his long-term chances at the Camp Nou, following the arrival of Javier Mascherano from Liverpool.

Arsenal, who famously lured Cesc Fabregas from the Catalonian giants, are said to be lurking, but they reportedly face competition from London rivals Tottenham.

However, Romeu was included in the Barca side for the Super Cup clash with Sevilla last month, and Guardiola is desperate to keep hold of him.
