Arsenal Football Club are unlikely to land Stephan El Shaarawy in the summer.

The 19-year-old striker has long been on the radar of Arsene Wenger, who is thought to have been interested in signing him before he joined Milan last summer.

Reports suggest the Gunners boss could make a move for El Shaarawy when the window reopens, but the agent of the striker has all but ruled out such a deal.

"Arsenal were watching him before his arrival in Milan," said Roberto La Florio. "But the Rossoneri signed him and will not be letting him go. He would also be happy to stay.”
