Andrey Arshavin has emerged as a target for Queens Park Rangers.

The Russian international made a huge impact when he joined Arsenal in January 2009, but his form has tailed off somewhat in recent times.

Arshavin spent the second half of last season on loan at Zenit St Petersburg, who have decided against taking him on a permanent basis this summer.

The 31-year-old is now down to the final year of his Gunners contract, and QPR are believed to be looking at taking the midfielder for around £3million.
