Victor Wanyama has been lined up as a possible signing for Arsenal.

Arsene Wenger knows he faces a battle to hold onto Cameroon international Alex Song, with Barcelona said to be set to make an offer for his signature.

If the Spaniards succeed then the Gunners coach will turn his attention to Kenyan international Wanyama, who enjoyed a fine season with Celtic last term.

The 21-year-old is keen to secure a move to England ahead of the 31 August deadline, and Wenger would look to take the midfield player for around £7million.
