Brad Friedel has hit back at accusations Aston Villa Football Club are boring.

During the goalless draw at Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday evening, the home fans at White Hart Lane accused Martin O’Neill’s side of negative tactics.

However, Friedel has hit back at these suggestions, and claims if there was a boring side on the field, it was actually Harry Redknapp’s team who were guilty.

"It's funny because a lot of their attacks came from long balls up to Crouchy (Peter Crouch), who headed it down to Defoe," he said. "So I'm not quite sure where they are coming from."
