John Carew is said to be unsettled at Aston Villa Football Club.

The Norwegian international has established himself as a firm crowd favourite at the Midlands club, following his move from Lyon in the winter of 2007.

Carew has struggled to nail down a regular place in the Villa side this season, with just ten of his 21 Premier League appearances coming as a starter.

The People claimed on Sunday that the 30-year-old is becoming increasingly unsettled at his situation in the Midlands, and that was before he was named on the bench for the Carling Cup final.

Carew still has two years remaining on his contract at the end of the this season, though, and if he does request a transfer, Martin O’Neill would likely want as much as £10million.
