Alex McLeish is eager to bolster his squad following a difficult debut campaign at Villa Park, but money is expected to be tight unless he can raise funds by selling.

The Scot has been scouring the free transfer market in recent weeks, but latest reports suggest he hopes he can lure Moses to the Midlands in a cut-price deal.

The 21-year-old will be down to the last year of his Wigan Athletic contract in the summer, and having rejected a new deal, McLeish would look to land the forward for £4million.
