Puyol urges Arsenal to grant Fabregas wish

Carles Puyol has urged Arsenal Football Club to let Cesc Fabregas join Barcelona.

Former Camp Nou youngster Fabregas has revealed he wants to return to the Catalan club this summer, but Arsene Wenger is refusing to sell him.

However, current Barca star Puyol has asked the French tactician to rethink this stance, and allow his Emirates Stadium skipper the chance to return to the Spanish club.

And the defender has also told the Premier League club that even if they keep the midfielder this summer, they are merely delaying the inevitable.

"I think Arsenal need to respect his class and show the same class by giving the guy who has given so much to them the move that he and his family want,” he said in the Daily Star Sunday.

"He isn't just being deprived of moving to the best club in the world. More importantly, he is being deprived of coming home. He has tried everything to win trophies at Arsenal.

“And when he sees the success so many of his Spanish team-mates are having at Barcelona, it's only natural that he should want to be a part of that.

"He is the future of Barcelona and Arsenal can't do anything to stop that. I have just spent six weeks with him and there is only one club he wants to be at.

"The worst-case scenario is that we have to wait another 12 months for him to join us - but Arsenal, Barcelona and Cesc know that is the very worst-case scenario."

Callous Carlos Puyol! Watch wht you say about the People's Captain. Otherwise I'll just be too glad to take you to the cleaners! Cesc is not 'Gunner' go awy from Arsenal. At least for now1 So take off your sniffing nose off our business!

Barcelona are a huge club. But why have they just taken a bank loan for £135 Mill to pay the players wages. The real question is do Barcelona have money problams. In 18 months time Arsenal are going to be debt free. Now about Cesc.. Would he play every game at Barcelona. I think NO.? Is he going to the skipper ( " NO " ). Would he play every gane at Arsenal " YES ". Will he be the skipper " OH YES " Cesc you are still a young man you have lots of time on your side. We are coming out of debt. Mr Wengar will build the team around you. Can't you see this. At Arsenal you are the first name on the team sheet. At Barcelona you will not be the first name on the team sheet. Look what happend at the world cup. You spent most of the time on the bench. If you goto Barcelona get use to it...? Cesc if you goto Barcelona. All you are going to fight with is Real-M thats it....? Stay in the Prem. You will have good battles with Chelsea , Man-U , Man-City , Spurs & Liverpool. Your a man stay & fight. Don't run & hide..? Only you can make this choice I hpoe it's the right choice ( STAY ).

Hey Carlos all I can say to you is f&%k off and do one mate! Barcelona have been a complete disgrace in their tapping up of Cesc from the top of the club to the bottom, unbelievable!
