Kevin Phillips proves he can still cut it in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

The 36-year-old striker has only started once for Birmingham City this term, but he came off the bench to hit a brace in the 2-1 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers.

“I think I've shown that I can still do it. It was only last season that I was still knocking goals in for fun," said Phillips, who is now pushing for a starting place with the Blues.

"People forget about you when you are not playing week in and week out but I believe, as I did at the start of the season, that I can still do a job in this league.”
