Birmingham City Football Club are set to increase their bid for Aiden McGeady.

Alex McLeish failed with an offer of £8million for the Republic of Ireland international in January, but he remains eager to land the winger.

McGeady looks certain to leave Celtic when the transfer window reopens in the summer, and the Daily Record reckon the Blues are poised to make an improved bid.

McLeish is sure the 23-year-old, who has been at Parkhead since 2001, would be a huge hit in the Premier League, and he is set to make him a top priority in the summer.
