Paul Ince has emerged as a contender for the Birmingham City job.
The Championship side are in the market for a new manager this summer, having lost Chris Hughton to Premier League outfit Norwich City this week.
Latest reports suggest the Blues could be about to turn their attention to former England international Ince, who is out of work and available.
The 44-year-old has experience of being in charge of Macclesfield Town, MK Dons (twice), Blackburn Rovers in the Premier League, and latterly Notts County.
