Chris Hughton has stepped up his bid to land Curtis Davies.

Hughton left Birmingham City for Norwich City earlier this summer, and is now busy making plans to ensure another good season at Carrow Road.

The Canaries boss is determined to raid his former club to land Davies, but so far the Blues have offered him little encouragement in his pursuit.

However, the 27-year-old defender still features heavily on the wanted list at the Premier League club, who are lining up an offer of £5million this week.
