Junior Hoilett has signed a new contract at Blackburn Rovers Football Club.

Sam Allardyce rates the 19-year-old Canadian-born forward as a real star of the future, and he called upon him sixteen times in the Premier League this season.

Hoilett was due to be out of contract at the end of the campaign, and it had been suggested that he was stalling on the offer of an extended deal.

However, it has now been confirmed that the youngster has agreed to sign a new contract at Ewood Park, which will keep him in Lancashire until the summer of 2012.
