Jamie Mackie is a target for Blackburn Rovers.

Steve Kean is preparing his side ahead of the new Championship season, having been relegated from the Premier League last term.

Rovers have already signed Leon Best and Nuno Gomes, and now it is believed they have set their sights on Queens Park Rangers ace Mackie.

The Scottish forward has three years left of his contract at Loftus Road, but Kean is hoping a fee of £3million would persuade Mark Hughes to sell the 26-year-old.
