Everton have made a move for Steven N’Zonzi.

The French midfielder looks set to leave Blackburn Rovers ahead of the coming season, following their relegation from the Premier League last term.

A host of top-flight clubs have been linked with the 23-year-old, including Arsenal and Chelsea, but David Moyes is set to make the first move by making a bid this week.

It is believed the Toffees boss will offer a fee of £4.5million for N’Zonzi, who would be able to remain in the North West of England by making such a move.
