Everton Football Club are ready to pounce for Charlie Adam.

The midfielder impressed during a loan stint at Blackpool last season, and this promoted the Championship club to take him on a permanent basis in the summer.

Adam, then of Celtic, cost the Lancastrians just £500,000, but such has been the standard of his performances in recent weeks, he is now rated at £5million.

Bolton Wanderers have been heavily linked with the 24-year-old, but reports suggest David Moyes, never afraid to raid clubs outside of the Premier League, is also ready to make an offer.
