Bolton Wanderers Football Club hope to sign Jack Wilshire today.

The 18-year-old midfielder is rated as a sure-fire star of the future by Arsene Wenger, who is prepared to let him leave on loan to gain more first team action.

Owen Coyle was close to taking Wilshire to Burnley earlier this season, and now he is in charge at Bolton, he wants the youngster at the Reebok Stadium.

“Jack Wilshire is a name that has been mentioned among others,” Coyle told Sky Sports. "He is a talented, young player, somebody I think has got the makings of being a top player.

"There has been dialogue, nothing concrete as yet. But he is someone we are interested in bringing to the football club. We will see what today brings."
