Mark Davies has been added to Liverpool’s list of targets.

It looks as though Brendan Rodgers will miss out on his former Swansea City loanee Gylfi Sigurdsson, who is expected to leave Hoffenheim for Tottenham Hotspur.

The Reds boss is now looking for an alternative midfield signing, and The Sun claims he has set his sights on Bolton Wanderers ace Davies.

The 24-year-old is expected to leave the Reebok Stadium following the Whites relegation, and Rodgers is prepared to pay as much as £6million for his signature.
