Midfielder David Hunt has been handed a new Bees contract until 2011.

"I was pleased with my performances when I came in for the last third of the season," he told the club's official website.

"I'd been patient on the bench and was perhaps lucky to come in when Kevin (O'Connor) got injured, but I felt I took my chance and it was great to end the season on a high.

"I'm grateful to be rewarded for those performances with a two-year contract."
