Brentford have snapped up three players from Dagenham & Redbridge following their promotion to League One.

Defender Danny Foster, winger Sam Saunders and striker Ben Strevens were out of contract at Victoria Road and Bees boss Andy Scott has secured their signatures.

Strevens and Saunders both scored 14 goals for the Daggers last season, while former Tottenham trainee Foster made 38 league appearances.

Saunders said: "I'm getting to the stage of my career where I want to play at a higher level."

"I met Andy and he seemed really keen to sign me. He's really hungry and a young manager who is going to go places. I was delighted."
