Uwe Rosler will not give up on promotion with Brentford Football Club this season.

The Bees could have broken into the playoff places last weekend, but they were held by Notts County who occupy sixth position in League One.

Brentford are in ninth place but just three points off the pace, and with three games remaining, Rosler insists he and his players will fight until the end.

“We set ourselves a 10th-place target and we're there, but while we are in contention we will not give up on the chance,” said the former Manchester City ace.

“We haven't given upon it yet but Notts County and Carlisle United are in the driving seat. It's up to them it now, but you never know what can happen with points still to play for."
