Brentford striker Billy Clarke, on-loan from Ipswich is relishing the Bees challenge for League One status.

"Hopefully I can keep playing well, get Brentford promoted and we will see what happens," he said.

"Every player wants to make the step-up from League Two to League One, and then the Championship.

"We are top of the league and we probably have an easier run-in than other teams behind us. It's in our own hands, we need to start winning games and concentrate on that rather than worrying about winning the league."

Clarke's Portman Road contract expires in the summer and he has been told it will not be renewed.
