Brentford remained top of League Two but could only draw with automatic promtion rivals Exeter 1-1 at Griffin Park.

Exeter had taken the lead when Stuart Fleetwood rounded the keeper before slotting in.

Billy Clarke had a chance to level from the penalty spot but saw his spot-kick saved by Paul Jones.

But Clarke made up for his miss for when David Hunt passed the ball to him at the far post and he slotted home.

Just five points seperate the top five in League One with the top three going up automatically. Brentford and Wycombe, the top two, have a game in handon the others.
