Bristol City move in on Ipswich star
Bristol City are close to completing a deal for Ipswich Town forward Danny Haynes for an undisclosed fee.
Haynes is believed to be in talks with City and undergoing a medical at Ashton Gate after Ipswich accepted an undisclosed offer for the 21-year old striker who came through the ranks at Portman Road and has scored 19 goals in 128 appearances.
Haynes is contracted to Town until 2011 and failed to win a regular first team place last season - scoring only twice, both goals coming in the Carling Cup.
Meanwhile, according to the Evening Post, Bristol City are understood to be handing Greek defender Grigoris Papazacharias a trial next week.
The central defender plays for Greek Super League side Iraklis and will arrive in Bristol on Monday morning.
