Bristol City have completed the transfer of Ipswich forward Danny Haynes.
The 21-year-old forward has put pen-to-paper on a three-year deal with the Robins and is set to make his debut in a friendly against Dutch giants Ajax on Wednesday. He arrives for an undisclosed fee.
Londoner Haynes, who can operate as a striker or a winger, joined Ipswich in 2005 after graduating from Charlton's academy and has represented England at Under-19 level.
Haynes told the club's official website: "I like Bristol City as a club, I think this is a fresh challenge and I'm confident I can do well here.
"The move has come around quite quickly but I'm delighted with it. Roy Keane (the Ipswich manager) has brought in new signings ans has other plans for other people, so this change is right for me."
Bristol City manager Gary Johnson told the Green 'Un, "Danny is a player we went in for back in January but we were told then in no uncertain terms he was not available
"Things have changed at Ipswich since then with a new manager coming in and the lad now feels he needs a move to kick start his career.
"Danny is an improving player and I believe we have value for money.
"He is not the finished article yet but he is very quick, strong and direct and he has always done well against us.
"He can play out wide but I see him more as an attacking forward, someone who can play in a three up front."
