Chris Iwelumo has joined Bristol City Football Club on loan.

The Scotland international’s season at Wolverhampton Wanderers has been disrupted by injuries, and he is lacking match fitness.

Mick McCarthy is happy for him to leave on loan, and the Robins have snapped him up on an emergency one-month deal.

"We're delighted to be able to bring Chris in," manager Gary Johnson told the club's official website. "We've managed to bring him here for a month initially and we'll take it from there."
