Brian Laws was pleased with Burnley Football Club’s effort at the Emirates Stadium.
The Clarets drew level with Premier League title contenders Arsenal on Saturday afternoon, but the hosts went on to eventually win the game 3-1.
“I think the players put in a real good effort today, there's a lot of positives to take out of the game," Laws told Sky Sports. "I thought we performed really well and particularly in the second half.
“I thought we had a real good 20-minute spell where we were on the front foot and we got that equaliser and, of course, we looked in a confident mood.
"We're going to take a lot of positives and the fact that we were still in the game within the last 30 seconds suggests to us that we're going in the right direction."
