Striker Richard Walker has signed a two-year contract with the Brewers.

"Richard is just the type of player I have been looking for," said Pirelli Stadium boss Paul Peschisolido, after snapping up the free agent 31-year-old after his release by Bristol Rovers.

"He is experienced, has played at a higher level and has a good scoring track record.
"He is a strong centre-forward who will get you goals and can also hold the ball up well.

"He is a good character and is another piece of the jigsaw."

Walker spent the majority of last season in League Two, on loan at Shrewsbury.
