Bury Football Club have signed Mike Grella.

The 25-year-old American ended a three-year stint at Leeds United in August, when he left the Elland Road club and signed for Brentford.

However, having failed to establish himself at Griffin Road, Grella was released last month and he has since been on the lookout for a new club.

The striker has now been handed such an opportunity by League One side Bury, with the player being handed a contract with the Shakers which will run until the end of the season.
