Striker Ross McCormack has signed a new contract with Cardiff City.

McCormack has signed a four-year deal and said to the club;s official website, "Im really pleased to have sorted things out, I enjoyed last season and like the other lads want the opportunity to go that step further this year."

McCormack was a prolific scorer last season after joining in the summer of 2008 from Motherwell.. He netted 21 goals in 38 games.
