Allardyce eyes cut-price Cardiff City star
Sam Allardyce hopes to persuade Cardiff City Football Club to sell Joe Ledley.
The Wales international has just six months remaining on his contract with the Championship side, who have so far refused to consider selling him in the winter.
However, the Lancashire Telegraph claim Allardyce is plotting a bid for the 22-year-old, who has in the past been linked with Premier League rivals Stoke City.
An offer in the region of £2million pay be enough to make the Bluebirds think about letting Ledley leave, although the player is key to their bid for promotion this term.
