Best, who has made 18 Premier League appearances for the Magpies this season, will soon enter the final 12 months of his contract at the St James Park club.

And reports in The Express claims Neil Lennon is prepared to offer the 25-year-old regular first team football at Parkhead, if a £2million deal can be agreed.
