Curbishley emerges as Portsmouth boss option
Alan Curbishley could be offered a route back into management by Portsmouth.
The former England candidate made his name as a manager at Charlton Athletic, and the demise of the Londoners since his departure shows what a fine job he did at The Valley.
He was replaced by Gianfranco Zola at West Ham United earlier this season, but he is believed to be eager to get back into management next season.
Paul Hart is currently in charge of Pompey on a caretaker basis, but it is being suggested that the Fratton Park club could approach Curbishley in the summer about taking over permanently.
