Leeds United Football Club have moved to sign Lloyd Sam.

The 25-year-old winger has spent the last seven years at Charlton Athletic, but his contract at the Valley expired this summer and he has agreed a two-year deal with the Whites.

"My contract had ended and I wanted to get back to playing in the Championship,” Sam told the official club site. "I was looking at a few Championship options, and started talking with Leeds.

“I am hoping to get in the team and I hope we can be in and around the play-offs. I'm buzzing and I'm looking forward to getting started and getting to know the lads."
