Chelsea to celebrate embargo lift with £60million swoop
10:30 AM 09 February, 2010
Chelsea Football Club will celebrate the lifting of their transfer embargo in style this summer.

The Blues were set to be banned from signing any new players for two transfer windows, having been found guilty of forcing Gael Kakuta to cancel his contract at Lens.

However, the Premier League club successfully appealed this suspension, and The Mirror claim they will now flex their financial muscle when the window reopens in the summer.

It is being suggested that Carlo Ancelotti will pay £30million to take Argentine superstar Sergio Aguero from Atletico Madrid, to inject another option into his strike force.

And the Italian coach will also firm up his interest in France playmaker Franck Ribery, who is expected to be sold by Bayern Munich in the summer for £30million.
