Goalkeeper issues don’t worry Chelsea coach
11:45 AM 13 March, 2010
Carlo Ancelotti insists he is not worried about Chelsea Football Club’s goalkeeper problems.

Regular Blues number one Petr Cech has been sidelined with a calf injury since last month, whilst his back-up Hilario suffered a groin injury against Stoke City last weekend.

This means third choice Ross Turnbull will line-up against West Ham United on Saturday and in the UEFA Champions League return against inter Milan on Tuesday.

“I'm not worried," said Ancelotti. "The performance of the team does not rely upon the goalkeeper. I don't want to say we can play without a goalkeeper, because that's an important player.

“But I have confidence in Turnbull. He has not played a lot of games this season but he has improved very well. I have no problem about playing Turnbull against Inter Milan."
