Chelsea Football Club could make a huge bid for Mario Gotze in the summer.

The German international is regarded as one of the best young talents in European football, and he has been linked with a host of top clubs during the current season.

Gotze seemingly snubbed a move when the window reopens when he signed a new contract at Borussia Dortmund last month, which ties him to the club until 2016.

However, according to the Daily Mail, this hasn’t deterred Roman Abramovich, who is prepared to pay £40million to lure the 19-year-old to Stamford Bridge.
