Arsene Wenger is again considering making an offer for Salomon Kalou.

The Ivory Coast international has previously been linked with a move to Arsenal, with their French coach a long-term admirer of the 26-year-old forward.

Kalou is now available on a free transfer following his release from Chelsea, but it has been suggested that the Gunners have cooled their interest.

However, it is now believed that the former Feyenoord man could be on his way to the Emirates Stadium, as Wenger feels he would be a shrewd squad addition.
