Coventry boss Aidy Boothroyd says a deal is moving closer to completion for Marlon King, who has just been released from prison.

“The situation with Marlon is still ongoing,” confirmed Boothroyd to the Coventry Telegraph, “but we are quite close now and it’s getting closer.

"We’re talking and we’ve had him in to do some tests on him."

It is thought that King will sign a three-year deal worth around £10k per week.
