Danny Ward is expected to join Coventry City Football Club on loan.

The loan window opens for Football League clubs on Tuesday, and the Sky Blues are set to waste little time in taking the winger on a temporary deal.

Ward is highly rated by his current employers Bolton Wanderers, but Owen Coyle is prepared to loan him out so he can get regular first team football.

The 18-year-old has made two Premier League appearances for the Whites, and he featured 28 times for Swindon Town during a loan stint last season.
