Dean Holdsworth has rejected the chance to become the new Crawley Town boss.
The Red Devils clinched promotion to League one last season, but have since lost their manager Sean O’Driscoll who has replaced Steve Cotterill at Nottingham Forest.
Crawley have now set their sights on Aldershot Town manager Holdsworth, but the 43-year-old has snubbed the chance and will instead stay on at the Recreation Ground.
“I have got a lot of ambition but at this moment in time that is making Aldershot Town a better place to be and work - it is important that people see my loyalty,” he said.
