Crewe manager Gudjon Thordarson was impressed by Hamdi Razak in Crewe's pre-season 7-0 thumping of Newcastle Town.

23-year old Razak scored twice in the win as he looks to earn a deal at Gresty Road following his release by Swindon at the end of last season.

Alex boss Gudjon Thordarson told BBC Radio Stoke: "I thought he took his goals very well. He is way off being fit but he is worth another look at."
