Eugen Bopp is doing all he can to earn a contract at Portsmouth Football Club.
The Kiev-born midfielder player is available on a free transfer after his contract at League Two side Crewe Alexandra was terminated earlier this summer.
In a surprise move Bopp, 25, has been handed a trial at Premier League Pompey, and he scored twice in 45 minutes during a 2-2 draw with Havant & Waterlooville.
"I brought Eugen over when I was Academy manager at Nottingham Forest nine years ago and he's got an opportunity,” Fratton Park club manager Paul Hart told The News.
