Sunderland Football Club are interested in Nathaniel Clyne.

Wolverhampton Wanderers spent much of January chasing the Crystal Palace right fullback, who reportedly rejected the chance of a move to Molineux on deadline day.

The 18-year-old is expected to be sold in the summer, though, to ease the financial worries at Selhurst Park, and the Journal claims Steve Bruce is keen.

The Black Cats manager would prefer to make Alan Hutton’s loan move from Tottenham Hotspur permanent, but if this proves too costly, then Clyne is next on his list.
